Onni Announced as Founding Presenting Partner for VK Basketball
VK Basketball is excited to announce Onni as the Founding Presenting Partner of VK Basketball. Together we will provide athletes with the opportunity to play basketball and travel on teams during the spring/summer months at no cost to the athlete. We believe being involved in extracurricular activities, specifically playing sports, is vital to youth development, and have set out to make sport as accessible to young athletes as possible.
The family-owned and operated Onni Group has been designing, developing, building and managing innovative real estate in British Columbia for several decades earning a reputation as one of the province's most respected developers.
As a responsible corporate citizen, Onni takes pride in being an active participant in the communities in which it conducts business. Making a difference at every level in a variety of areas is central to Onni’s corporate values. We want to extend our biggest thanks to Onni for their support of VK Basketball. Their partnership enables us to provide more young athletes access to sports, high level coaches, and other opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.
We are excited to get the teams started this April and are working to create an unforgettable experience for all our athletes. Together we will take VK Basketball where no other club has been able to go and leave a lasting impact on our province. Providing a free basketball travel program is not easy, but with the support from Onni we can look forward to what the future holds for this program.
